All the pieces featured are constructed with an extruder. Strands of various sizes (depending on the piece) are extruded and then woven together to create an intricate pattern. Work is fired from cone 04 to cone 2 depending on the clay used. Most of the work is low fired in an electric kiln.

To get the "black & white" effect, a black wash is applied and left to settle in the crevices, then wiped off the surface. For the solid colors, a spray gun is used for even distribution.
